We were lucky to have a partnership with Waiariki Polytechnic this year which involved offering 7 Trades Academy courses to our students: Automotive, Healthcare, Engineering, Electronics, Construction - Yr 1 and 2 Hair & Beauty, Wood Manufacturing.
The students enjoyed these courses and this has given them good credit achievement and an insight into future pathways in these industries. Of course this has meant a day out of school for these students which I guess is an added bonus. We look forward to offering the same courses next year.
