Dance

Dance is an option subject at Tauhara College. If chosen by a student, they get to attend the dance class for their year level, four hours a week. It is an NCEA subject, and it is run for all years 9 to 13. Between year 11 and 13, students will gain NCEA credits for Achievement Standard work. During the years of dance, students will learn the basics of different dance styles, dance vocabulary, team choreography, time management skills, Team work Skills, performance skills.
