Football
Tauhara College has a thriving football community. The students trial early in the year and are placed in teams appropriate to their skill level.
Therefore if you are an outstanding Year 9 footballer you have every opportunity to make the 1st XI for both boys and girls.
The students are then invited to join the "Football Academy" which provides extra opportunities throughout the season with guest speakers and additional practise sessions with qualified coaches.
All footballers practise with their team after school during the week and play in the Central Bay of Plenty Secondary School League.
